Welcome to Marianapolis Preparatory School

Marianapolis Preparatory School is an independent, coeducational, Catholic day and boarding high school located in Thompson, Connecticut. More than 300 students (9-PG) from more than 20 countries and multiple states come together to achieve academic, athletic, and artistic excellence while developing confidence and character.

Learning by doing is a hallmark of a Marianapolis education through signature programs such as the Centers of Excellence and LEAP.  Our curriculum encourages students to think creatively and to articulate ideas effectively, challenging students with rigorous coursework paired with the support of a dedicated faculty. Our English Language program for international students is an intentional, scaffolded curriculum based in our 100-year history of instructing non-native speakers of English.

At MPrep, learning occurs across all aspects of a student’s experience - with classmates, on their athletic teams and in extracurricular activities, through residential curriculum, and in serving school, local, and international communities. Discover your Marianapolis today!
